GADVASU registrar PD Juyal said the university has constituted the anti-ragging committees and anti-ragging squads as directed by Supreme Court to put an end to ragging on the campus. “Wardens of all girls and boys hostels have been directed to ensure that an affidavit must be obtained from each student and parent, stating anyone who pushes up the ragging element in any manner will get severe punishment, ”stated Juyal.

SPS Sangha, student welfare dean and estate officer, GADVASU, said, “The veterinary university has also produced a film on ragging, which will soon be available on the university website. It will discourage students promoting ragging on the university campus.” He added that they were looking forward to welcome fresher students and assure they are provided the best environment to study.
