The Amritsar Bar Association will observe a 'no-work' day on Friday to lodge its protest against the 'cowardly murder' of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh in a Pakistani jail.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the executive of the association, which was chaired by its president Pradeep Saini, on Thursday.

The association unanimously resolved that to lodge their protest against the murder of Sarabjit Singh, they would break all ties with Pakistani nationals and would not accord welcome to anyone from the neighbouring country coming to the holy city through the Wagah border or any other route.
