36-kg heroin seized in Amritsar

On Monday night, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel recovered 20kg heroin, one pistol, two magazines, 12 rounds of ammunition and one Pakistani phone, in Maushehra Dhalla in Amritsar sector.

BSF jawans recovered 16kg heroin and one pistol from Kassoke area of the Ferozepur sector.

October 10: Three Pakistani smugglers shot down, 24kg heroin seized. One Ak-47 rifle, three Pakistani mobile phones and SIM cards recovered.

Long delayed, work on new RPO building in Amritsar begins
