Army to hold recruitment rally at Tibri Cantonment from Jan 14

The army will hold a recruitment rally at the Tibri Cantonment from January 14 to 23 for soldiers in general, technical, clerical and storekeeper categories.

Deputy commissioner Abhinav Trikha on Monday said candidates from Tarn Taran tehsil would be recruited on January 14 while candidates from Khadoor Sahib and Patti tehsils of Tarn Taran district would participate on January 15.

He said candidates from Amritsar-1 and Amritsar-II of Amritsar district would be recruited on January 16 while the recruitment for candidates from Ajnala and Baba Bakala tehsils would be held on January 17.

Youths from Gurdaspur tehsil would be recruited on January 18 while candidates from Dera Baba Nanak and Batala tehsils of Gurdaspur district would participate in the recruitment drive on January 19. Candidates from Pathankot and Dhar Kalan tehsils of Pathankot district would participate in the recruitment on January 20.

The deputy commissioner said that candidates from other districts of Punjab apart from Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Pathankot would participate in the drive on January 21.

The candidates for soldier general duty and soldier technical would appear in the joint entrance test on February 2, he added. Those born between January 14, 1993 and January 14, 1996 and are matriculate with minimum 45 per cent marks will be eligible for this.
