Badal to hold 'sangat darshan at Dinanagar

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal is all set to hold his 'sangat darshan' programme in the Dinanagar Assembly constituency on January 21 and 22.


Deputy commissioner Abhinav Trikha said on the occasion, the chief minister would distribute cheques of grants among 118 panchayats of Dinanagar block, 67 panchayats of Dorangla block, 59 panchayats of Gurdaspur block, 8 panchayats of Kahnuwan block and 13 wards of the Dinanagar municipal council for development works, besides hearing public grievances for their redressal.

Dinanagar has a Congress MLA, Aruna Chaudhary, besides the Dinanagar assembly seat was allotted to the SAD coalition partner the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
