All Saints Church chairman and senior Congress leader Kanwal Bakshi on Monday condemned the twin suicide blasts which claimed 78 people of a community, including women and children, in Peshawar, Pakistan, during Sunday service.

More than 130 people were killed in the attack on All Saints Church, one of the oldest churches in Pakistan, built in 1883. Chandullah Group, a faction of terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

Terming the blasts a "cowardly act", Bakshi urged the Pakistan government to ensure safety of all minorities in the country.
