Gul, who also campaigned for party candidate from Ludhiana H S Phoolka recently, moved around with Dr Daljit Singh and AAP volunteers in an open vehicle and covered the major areas of the city, meeting people on the way and urging them to chose the right candidate if they want save the nation from the corrupt politicians.

While talking to the people during the road show, she said, "During the past 25 years, you all have clearly seen what SAD-BJP and the Congress have done to the prosperous Punjab. Today, the state's condition is miserable. Thus, it calls for a change".

She further said, "If the people who are running the system are corrupt and are busy filling their own pockets and treasures, then the Aam Admi has to come forward to take control and fight corruption".

Gul said, "We have to make way for truth and honesty in the political system. This would be the first time when the people of India would get a chance to make a right choice between the pit and a well. It is high time we came forward and choose capable and honest candidates as these two traits are the most important for democracy".

The actress, who earlier paid obeisance at the Golden Temple, said, "While the traditional parties have paid workers, paid news and paid for agendas, AAP will follow its clean uncorrupted politics and walk the path of truth without fear".
