Haryana love pair consume poison near Pathankot, boy die woman survives

An eloped love pair from Haryana attempted suicide near Pathankot when they were being taken back to their village by their parents. The boy however died in Pathankot civil hospital while the woman already married has survived after getting treatment and is stated to be out of danger.
The boy woman duo from village Nuu in Mewat Police Station had eloped after giving dodge to their parents after which the parents had lodged a Police complaint. The Police cyber crime cell had been keeping watch on the mobile location of Kuldip(22) and confirmed presence of both in Kathua in J&K after which the parents along with the local Police had rushed to find them. As the parents knew about the boy studying in ETT in Kathua(J&K) the parents managed to find the pair and agreed them to accompany them for a patch up.
As all reached in Pathankot late last night for a dinner a local hotel boy and woman stayed back in the vehicle and allegedly consumed some poisonous substance after which the condition of both started deteriorating. We took them to a private hospital and admitted in the hospital where boy Kuldip died claimed Ramvir father in law of eloped woman Neetu(32). She was married with my son and had fled with this boy and we were taking them back when they consumed poison he concluded.
SHO Lalit Kumar said that as the woman had survived she would tell more about the happening when she comes to full conscious but so far we have registered a case under section 174. Asked if any decision from Khap Panchayats is confirmed against these two he said that so far we are taking the statements of both the families who are here and after that we can draw some conclusion after consulting with our Haryana counterparts.
