India important to us, says Zardari's sister

Touring India for pilgrimage, Faryal Talpur, sister of Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari said India was important to Pakistan and they always look forward to have good relations with the neighbour.

Talpur, who was leading the 10-member delegation of Member National Assembly (MNA) said, "We are on a personal visit to India and it is totally non-political. We will visit a couple of places, pay obeisance and return back."

Talking on Indo-Pak relations, Talpur said, "I am from Sindh and I see 'Sindh and Hind' very close to each other. Both countries have lot of things in common and it is very important that the issues get resolved."

Talpur said she was happy with the ongoing dialogue between both the countries, and was hopeful that things would move in the right direction.

Both the nations are very important in the Asian subcontinent and we want that by having cordial relations India and Pakistan must boost exchanges in the field of education and trade.

When questioned why till now major issues have not been resolved between the two nations, Talpur said, "Dialogue is on and from there only solution will come."

Stressing further Faryal Talpur said, "There is no specific time. Every time is conducive for talks and it is important to look ahead."

On Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Pakistan, she said, "We always welcome Indian Prime Minister and people of Pakistan are also waiting for his visit."

Talpur is going to pay obeisance to dargah in Sirhind on Wednesday.
