Play staged at Virsa Vihar

Manch Rangmanch staged a Punjabi play, "Khamesh Chiragan di Dastan" at Kartar Singh Duggal Auditorium at Virsa Vihar. The play was directed by renowned theatre man, Kewal Dhaliwal and was written by Rahul Verma.

The play was appreciated by one and all since it carried a message for society. The actors of the play were Vishu Sharma, Gurtej Mann, Anupreet Bal, Sukhwinder Virk, Dolly Sadal, Manjinder Anjan, Narinder Sethi, Jatinder Bhola, Akash Arora and Puneet Watts.

Forum directs Improvement Trust to return `9.8 lakh to complainant

The district consumer disputes redressal forum directed Jalandhar Improvement Trust (JIT) to refund a sum of `9.87 lakh to a complainant who paid the money for allotment of a residential plot as the scheme under which the land was allotted has been stalled by the Punjab and Haryana high court.
