Punjab BJP vice-president Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina on Wednesday said all the facts relating the role of Britain helping conduct the 1984 Operation Bluestar at Harmandar Sahib should be made public.
He welcomed the probe ordered by British Prime Minister David Cameron into the whole incident related to the revelations about the classified documents from UK hinting towards such a role.

"The people want to know the facts about the role of Britain in the operation. The people world over had expressed anguish over the attack on the holy shrine. The kind of role the British government played must be revealed," said Chhina.

Unplanned divider ruins charm of McLeod Road

Morning walkers in the holy city have lost what was, perhaps, their last remaining favourite road.
An unplanned concrete divider has killed the beauty of Mcleod Road running along the Government College for Girls (GCG). The strolls over there used to be smooth, as the road used to be wide and traffic-free. The median has brought in potholes, logjams, and encroachment.
