Protest against uploading of objectionable pictures

Supporters of different Sikh organisations on Wednesday held a protest march at Dera Baba Nanak against alleged uploading of objectionable pictures of first Sikh master, Guru Nanak Dev, by a UK resident on a social networking site. 


Led by Harminder Singh of Tarna Dal, the protesters started the march from Kotli Surat Malhi and ended at Dera Baba Nanak, where the protesters also organized a 'dharna' near the old bus stand. The state government should take a serious note of this issue and take strict action against UK resident Parminder Kaur, the protesters demanded after submitting a memorandum to the Dera Baba Nanak tehsildar.
