The People's Party of Punjab chief Manpreet Badal has said that the 'chintan shivir' of the ruling SAD-BJP alliance at Goa would do little good to Punjab and its people. He said he was keen on seeing the 'outcome' of the camp.

“It's sheer wastage of money. Those serious in introspecting need not go far. The PPP too will organise an introspection camp on April 15 and 16 at Jalandhar and the people of the state would decide who was more serious in introspecting,” Manpreet said.

He said that the state government was doing nothing to generate employment. He alleged that underserving people had been given the key responsibilities in the government.
