Voice of Punjab's grand finale concludes

Anantpal Singh from Ferozpur and Nimratpal Kaur from Gurdaspur walked away with the title of Voice of Punjab Season 3, the grand finale of which was held at Ranjit Avenue grounds on Saturday night.

Besides bagging the title, the winners were awarded a car and a contract for a music album, which will be launched by Vanjali Records.

Famed Punjabi singers Malkit Singh, Harbhajan Mann, Saleem and producer Sachin Ahuja judged the grand finale.

The mega event saw the performances by noted names of Punjabi music, which included Malkit Singh, Master Saleem, Diljit Dosanjh, Harbhajan Maan, Vinay Pal Buttar, Kaler Kanth, Feroz Khan, Lakhwinder Wadali, Harbhajan Shera, Rani Randeep and Lakhwinder Lucky. Voice of Punjab Season 2 winners Jaspinder and Pradeep also performed in the grand finale, which was anchored by Rajeev Thakur and Sugandha.

The third season of the show started in the month of May this year and was aimed at exploring and recognising the next generation singers from the grass-roots level. Rajiee M Shinde, COO,  PTC Network, said during the show the participants were scrutinised at various stages after which eight contestants (4 boys and 4 girls) competed in the final event.

Rabindra Narayan, president, PTC Network, said, "Voice of Punjab Season 3 has reached 18.5 million viewers already, as opposed to 17 million viewers of the Season 2 and 15 million of the Season 1. We got a great response in the grand finale Voice of Punjab."
