Workshop on dance, theatre concludes at GNDU

A three-day workshop on dance and theatre concluded at Guru Nanak Dev University on Saturday. The workshop was organized by director, youth welfare to identify the talented student-artistes. Students from various affiliated colleges, their teachers and team directors participated in the workshop.
The students were taught about various dance and drama techniques during the workshop addressed by Kewal Dhariwal, president, Punjab Sangeet Natak Academy, on September 6.


Similarly, a workshop on kavishri, var gayan, group shabad/bhajan and folk song was held on September 7. Experts like Suba Singh from Sikh Missionary College, Kawaljit Singh and Jasbir Kaur from Punjabi University, Patiala, interacted with the students in the workshop.
