The 112 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army (Dogra) will organise a recruitment rally for the category of general duty soldiers, clerks (SD) and tradesmen (chef community, washermen and house keeper) at the Cantonment on December 30 at 9 am. Candidates from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh, can take part in the rally.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 42 years with 50 kg weight, 160 cm height and 77-82 cm chest. The educational qualification required for the soldier general duty is 10th with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. Candidates with higher qualification need not to have 45% marks in matriculation.
The candidates appearing for clerk (SD) should be 10+2, Intermediate exam passed from any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science with English) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and at least 40% marks in each subject and should have proficient in typing and operating computer.
The candidates appearing for chef community and washermen should be 10th and proficient in trade work. Those appearing for house keeper should be 8th pass and proficient in trade work.
Preference will be given to good shooters, computer literate, vehicle mechanics and sportsmen who have represented at national, state and district levels and drivers of heavy vehicles with valid licence for recruitment as soldiers (general duty).
