An aspiring air hostess has alleged sexual harassment at the hands of the owner of the institution, in which she was getting training. She also lodged a complaint against institute owner AP Singh on Wednesday.

Rani (name changed), 18, in her complaint to the police commissioner said she was a student of Neptune International Institute of Air Hostess Training situated near the bus stand and was staying as paying guest in AP Singh's house at Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar Extension.

She alleged that Singh used to sexually harass her and had even taken her "objectionable" photographs through hidden cameras allegedly fitted in the bathroom and the bedroom of the accommodation.

She alleged that many a time Singh forced her to consume alcohol before sexually harassing her. "Recently, Singh took a group of girls to Himachal Pradesh, where he took their "objectionable" photographs, on the pretext of making their portfolio for modelling. He even uploaded the pictures on the website of the institute without their permission," she alleged.

"Recently, Singh slapped me for meeting a boy and also tried to blackmail me by threatening that he would tell my parents about my boyfriend," she told HT.

She added that Singh took huge amount of money from students on the "false" promise of providing them job in reputed airlines.

One of the teachers of the institute, Sonia Shukla, while strengthening the allegations made by Rani, said even she was told by Singh to persuade students to get trapped in his evil designs.
"When I refused to do any such thing, he fired me and did not even pay my salary," alleged Shukla, who is the joint complainant against Singh.

Commissioner of police Gaurav Yadav has ordered an inquiry into the complaint and assured strict action against the accused, if found guilty.

Meanwhile, AP Singh refuted the allegations levelled against him and said the entire story had been planted by Shukla, who was sacked due to her incapability of teaching English, for which she was employed.

"I treat all my students as my daughters and how can I indulge in such kind of activities with my students," Singh added.
