After bringing a revolution to the dissemination of yoga in the country and abroad, yoga guru Ram Dev has now made up his mind to establish 600 schools in 600 districts across the country.
"These schools would be known as Acharyakulam. Indian culture, yoga, Sanskrit and English languages and modern science would be integral part of the education in these schools," said Rakesh Mittal, national incharge of Patanjali Yog Peeth, addressing media persons on Sunday.
"Ram Dev will be in Hisar from October 20-October 24 in connection with a yoga camp. Patanjali Yog Peeth has now adopted a multi-dimensional approach for the welfare of the society and two projects have been initiated," firstly the Gyan Kranti (revolution in education) and secondly organic farming. A big research project has been started near Haridwar for the training of farmers for organic farming."
Acharyakulam schools would be day schools and students would remain there from morn till eve to take part in yoga, games and other activities during after-noon hours.
