Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday convened a meeting of senior Akali-BJP leaders, cabinet ministers, chief parliamentary secretaries and MLAs, besides senior officers of the state government, to finalise arrangements for the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Rs 115-crore state-of-the-art memorial at Sri Ram Tirath Temple, Amritsar, on the Parkash Utsav of Bhagwan Valmiki on October 18.

Stating this here on Monday, a spokesperson said Badal deputed Rupnagar MLA and SAD secretary Daljit Singh Cheema and CM's special principal secretary KJS Cheema to supervise the arrangements.
