“The suspicious bag was noticed by an army man in the morning when he was going to drop his children to school. He opened it and informed his seniors,” a source said.

A special army squad from Ferozepur reportedly took the bag in its possession.

Besides army officials, the local police also reached the spot soon after getting information.

Army officials refused to comment on the matter.

“The army is investigating the case from all angles,” the police officials said.
