Bailed out once, man lands in police net again for burglary

A month after a resident of New Madhopuri was arrested for burglary and bailed out, he landed in police net for burglary again on Thursday. The accused, Umesh Kumar alias Moofali, was arrested along with his accomplice Sanju Kumar alias Anda of New Shivpuri.

A month after a resident of New Madhopuri was arrested for burglary and bailed out, he landed in police net for burglary again on Thursday.


The accused, Umesh Kumar alias Moofali, was arrested along with his accomplice Sanju Kumar alias Anda of New Shivpuri. They had allegedly stolen a ceiling fan from a shop at New Subhash Nagar on Wednesday.

The Basti Jodhewal police arrested the accused from New Madhopuri and recovered the ceiling fan from their possession and registered a case of burglary against them.

Besides the ceiling fan, the police have recovered five mobile phones, a stolen motorcycle and one video camera from their possession.

Inspector Gurpreet Singh, station house officer (SHO), Basti Jodhewal police station, said the accused used to steal vehicles and belongings of people, adding that more important information was expected from the accused during investigation.
