Ban on hookah bars extended for two months

The district magistrate on Saturday extended the ban on hookah bars for the next two months. In a press note, district magistrate Rahul Tewari said the ban had been extended under Section 144 of the CrPC, and if anybody was found violating the orders, action would be taken under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The district magistrate on Saturday extended the ban on hookah bars for the next two months. In a press note, district magistrate Rahul Tewari said the ban had been extended under Section 144 of the CrPC, and if anybody was found violating the orders, action would be taken under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Tewari said the orders were issued for all city areas, towns and villages in the district.
