Umranangal said the hot air balloon didn’t destroy in sky and could fall anywhere, posing risk to life and property.

No storage, sale of firecrackers in residential areas

The police commissioner has also banned the storage and sale of fireworks in residential area. Umranangal said that he came to know that some of people had stored firecrackers illegally in godowns in residential areas and some traders were selling these in crowded markets.

Both the orders were passed under Section 144 of the CrPC. The police commissioner said stern action would be taken against the violators.
