35-year-old widow gangraped in Moga

Three youths allegedly abducted and gangraped a 35-year-old widow in the district, police said on Thursday.


The victim was abducted by the trio on Tuesday evening when she was returning from Dharamkot and taken to Kotisekhan village in the district where she was gangraped, police said.

The three main accused have been identified as Sandeep Singh, Hardeep Singh, Tara Singh.

Another unidentified man, who drove the vehicle used for abducting the woman, has also been booked in connection with the case, they added.

No arrests have been made so far as all four accused are absconding.
