Chaudhary is new Moga SSP

The Punjab government on Friday appointed Ashish Chaudhary as the new SSP of Moga on the orders of the Election Commission. Chaudhary has been appointed following complaints against SP Dilbagh Singh. The SP was the officiating SSP in the absence of SSP Surjit Singh Grewal, who is on leave.

JE holds protest against 'corruption' in power body

Senior officials of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) were caught in a tricky situation on Wednesday when a junior engineer posted in the Jaitu sub-division went on a hunger strike at the corporation's office by taking off his shirt and alleging large-scale corruption in the sub-division.
