Drive against eve-teasing in 7 districts

In view of the increasing incidents of molestation, the SSPs of seven districts will take steps to check eve-teasing and other crimes against women.


Inspector general of police Nirmal Singh Dhillon assigned the task to the senior superintendents of police here on Sunday. He also met civil officers to discuss law and order.

The SSPs of Bathinda, Mansa, Faridkot, Muktsar, Moga, Ferozepur, and Fazilka are to keep complaint boxes in all girls' schools and colleges to let them report incidents without fear and hassle.
