Ensuring communal harmony, peace is top priority: Badal

Ensuring communal harmony and peace in Punjab is the top priority of the SAD-BJP alliance government, chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday said.


"The state government has always given due respect to every religion by ensuring the well being of people...We are committed to promoting brotherhood and amity in the state and the biggest achievement of our government is that it has ensured communal harmony and peace in the state," Badal said at book launch here.

He said the state government was fully committed for the welfare of every religion in the state.
