As Congress candidate from Bathinda parliamentary constituency Manpreet Singh Badal has levelled allegations of malpractices by the SAD to ensure victory in the Lok Sabha polls, SAD candidate Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Wednesday took a dig at her rival and said he was doing so out of frustration.

She said that Manpreet Badal had become frustrated because he feared imminent defeat so he was resorting to repeated allegations of poll malpractices.

She said that when a person is going to lose the elections he complains of booth capturing and malpractices and much more to save his face so Manpreet Badal is also doing the same out of sheer frustration and for publicity stunt.

The SAD candidate  said that conduct of  smooth, free and fair and peaceful elections in Punjab  is a victory by itself for the SAD-BJP alliance as the Congressmen had tried to vitiate the atmosphere by raising the false bogey of violence and malpractices.

Congressmen are guarding the EVMs at Bathinda and Mansa apprehending that SAD can break into strong rooms where these EVMs have been kept and alter the poll results.
