The victim, a resident of Basti Khanuu Wali village in Ferozepur, was waiting for her acquaintance on a road at the village some days ago, when a villager, Ravi, and another youth, Ashwani, of Jhoke Harihar village came there on a motorcycle and offered her lift, which she accepted.

Instead of taking her to her destination, the two took her to an isolated place and later locked her in a room. The two allegedly repeatedly raped for two days. Before letting her go, they threatened her with dire consequences if she approached police against them, reports said.

After reaching home, the victim narrated the incident to the family who reported the matter to police.

Ferozepur senior superintendent of police Varinder Pal Singh said a case under Sections 376, 366, 354, 506 and 34 of the IPC was registered against Ravi and Ashwani. The latter had been arrested while Ravi was at large, the SSP added.
