Two trucks loaded with wheat were allegedly looted at gunpoint at Abohar in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Kashmiri Lal, driver of a truck, said he, along with the driver of another truck, had loaded 800 wheat bags from a local mill. They parked the trucks near the godown of Punjab Warehouse Corporation and the other driver went to his house.

Lal alleged that as he was sleeping, around 2am, seven to eight unidentified men woke him up at gunpoint. They allegedly took possession of the trucks and also took him along.

After reaching near Dabwali, they allegedly threw him out of the truck and fled with the trucks.

Fazilka SSP SS Kahlon said they were investigating the case.
