As pressure to arrest Daljeet Singh Bhana and his accomplices in the Deepansh and Simran double murder case has been mounting, commissionerate police officials are learnt to have quizzed the gang kingpin's ex-girlfriend a few days back.

Police officials are of the view that Bhana's ex girl-friend (name withheld) might be in touch with him, but did not get much information from her interrogation.

A top police official said that Bhana had not contacted her after 2010. The police have been keeping a close watch on her activities to get some clue about Bhana, the official said.

The official said the police found during investigation that Bhana was also in relationship with another girl from outside state, who is yet to be quizzed. The police are trying to trace her and she would be called for interrogation soon.

The official said the police have also picked up some of Bhana's relatives and friends for probe, who were in his contact but failed to get any significant lead.

Three police teams have been investigating the case keeping all the angles in mind to nab and have carried raids in UP, Bihar and Rajasthan in this connection, the official said. He said some vital clues had come out in the past 13 days' investigation.

Deputy commissioner of police Rahul S said police teams were working round-the-clock to arrest Bhana and his accomplices.

He said the police cannot share details of the investigation till all the accused are arrested. He, however, refused to comment on interrogation of Bhana's friend.
