The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the youth outfit of the Bharatiya Janata Party, will launch a membership drive from March 16 to 18 in all parts of India to complete its target of enrolling about 10 crore people as its members.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the morcha held under chairmanship of its president and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur in New Delhi on Friday night, said Narendra Attri, member of the All India executive of the morcha.
He said that the morcha was happy with the enrolling of about 7 crore people as members during the ongoing membership drive and the youth force had played a major role in this respect.
He said that the there was a good response to the drive and people were taking interest in the policies and programmes of the party's national government.
Atri said that in Himachal Pradesh too, the morcha had done a lot for spreading the message of the party among masses and to enroll more members.
