Bhiwani BJP leader shot dead

Rakesh Malik, the Tosham based leader of Bharatiya Janata Party was shot dead at his office in Bhiwani by two unidentified bike borne youths on Friday late night.


Malik, who was also the head of Beopar Mandal, had recently joined saffron party, after quitting Congress. He was rushed to Hisar-based private hospital where he was declared brought dead.

As per details, Malik had returned back after campaigning for party at his Tosham based office where the two unidentified youths, said to in their early twenties, rained bullets at him. In a jiffy, the helmet of one of the accused fell down at the crime spot, who later sped away on their bikes.

Heavy police force was deployed in the area for maintaining law and order in wake of reaction by locals regarding the murder of a political leader, after registering a murder case against the unknown accused.
