The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday again grilled Damanvir Singh, son of former Punjab minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur, in connection with its probe in the Jagdish Bhola drug racket case.

Damanvir, who appeared for the third time after joining investigations on June 24 in the case, was questioned for nearly four hours pertaining to his business and alleged links with some businessman in Delhi, whose name has cropped up in the drug racket.

Damanvir also produced some documents that were sought by the ED about some purchases made by him recently and his family, sources said.

It has been learnt that the ED is now almost through with Damanvir's statement. On July 3, the ED questioned Gaba's elder son Gurmesh Gaba for eight hours and its quite likely that the investigating agency may call both Damanvir and Gaba for the cross questioning.

Gurmesh's father Chunni Lal Gaba is already in a Patiala jail after his arrest last month.
