Taking a dig at the "Lalkar Rally" of Captain Amarinder Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party national secretary Tarun Chugh said it was Amarinder's 'lalkar' against "not the rival parties but Punjab Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa".

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Chugh accused Amarinder of misleading the people. "This rally was organised so that he could settle a score with some fellow Congress leaders. It has nothing to do with people's issues," said the BJP leader.

Confronting Amarinder who had asked for a national policy on drugs, Chugh said: "Why was he mum during the 10-year UPA (United Progressive Alliance) rule, and between 2002 and 2007, when he was chief minister?"
