The state unit of the BJP will host a two-day meeting of its working committee at Kurukshetra on 21 and 22 June to discuss the selection
of candidates for the upcoming assembly polls.
Party insiders said that the party would evaluate its prospects in all 90 assembly seats against its principal oppositions, the Indian National Lok Dal and the Congress.
A leader who is scheduled to participate in the meeting said that the meeting would hold significance, as it would review the political scenario in Haryana post Lok Sabha polls.
Sources said that the former organising secretary of the Haryana unti of the BJP, Suresh Bhatt, was holding a district level review meeting with party workers. Another leader said that a panel might be formed to evaluate potential candidates.
