Bodies in car: Five Delhi residents booked for murder

A day after four persons from New Delhi were found charred to death inside their car at Bahadurgarh town of Jhajjar district, the police have booked five persons on the charges of murder and under other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The accused have been identified as Ravinder, Dharmender, Gopal, Rahul and Chotti Balmiki, all residents of Delhi.

Narender, who is cousin of Manish, one of the deceased, in his complaint to the Bahadurgarh police said his cousin and friends — Sandeep, Deepak and Sudhir were kidnapped by the accused and they were allegedly killed by them. The accused had a dispute with the victims earlier also on some account, he said.

The police found charred bodies of four persons, all natives of Mitrav village of New Delhi, near Issrehdia village of Jhajjar district on Thursday.

Bahadurgarh DSP Kaptan Singh said they have lodged a formal complaint in this regard on the complaint of Narender, a native of Delhi, and have started efforts to arrest the accused.

The complainant had charged the Delhi police with negligence in performing duty by failing to take a timely action after they lodged a complaint at Haridas Nagar police station in Delhi.

Meanwhile, the post mortem was conducted at local medical college in Rohtak on Friday.
