In yet another incident, a woman accused her brother-in-law and four others of rape. The woman also alleged that her own sister and two other women helped the accused commit the crime. All eight accused are residents of Bhaini Baringa village of Raikot.

In her complaint, the victim alleged that her mother died on July 3, following which her sister and brother-in-law took her to their home at Shaant Park in Aggar Nagar. She alleged that her brother-in-law raped her and his accomplices outraged her modesty.
She alleged that later one of the accused Darshan Singh took her to his home at Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar and raped her.

The PAU police station has registered a case under sections 376 (rape) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) against the accused.

Assistant sub-inspector Surinder Singh said the case was registered following the orders of the court and the police have initiated investigation in it.
