Cambridge univ HR director arrives at Fategarh Sahib
Indi Seehra, director, human resources development from University of Cambridge, UK, arrived at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University for a weeklong visit on Monday. He was welcomed by vice-chancellor Gurmohan Singh Walia; dean, academic affairs; registrar and faculty of department of management.

The university has made an itinerary for his discourse with students and faculty of business management. Students and faculty from other institutions run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will also get the opportunity to participate in discussions with Seehra.
On the first day of his visit, Seehra addressed faculty and students of management on cross-culture diversity prevalent all over the world in relation to employment opportunities.
He emphasised on individual efforts in every organisation to make it a profitable entity besides decentralisation of its functioning. He also had an interaction with students in the classroom with focus on entrepreneurial skills and clarified on the issues raised by students regarding admission in University of Cambridge, UK, in various scholarship schemes.
On Tuesday, Seehra will conduct a workshop, in which faculty and students of business management from neighbouring institutions run by SGPC will also participate.
