Congress candidate from Kurukshetra Naveen Jindal on Sunday inaugurated his election offices in Thanesar, Shahabad, Radaur and Ladwa.

While addressing the party workers, he said that all areas within the Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency had witnessed unprecedented development in the past ten years.

He said that as a member of Parliament, he had effectively discharged his duties inside the House as well. He also paid tributes to martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on the occasion of 'Shaheed' Diwas'.

Jindal was welcomed by local MLA Anil Dhantori at Shahbad. At Thanesar, district Congress president Jai Bhagwan Sharma, ex-MLA Ramesh Gupta were present, while ex-MLA Krishna Pandit, Block pradhan Rajpal Kharkali were present at Radaur office. At Ladwa office, ex-Congress MP Kailasho Saini was present.

INLD leaders seek votes
INLD Haryana president and Thanesar MLA Ashok Arora addressed a number of public meetings in his constituency, seeking support for INLD candidate Balbir Saini. Addressing the public, he alleged that the Congress nominee Naveen Jindal had done nothing for the common man and he was there to run his business. He also took a dig at the BJP, saying the party didn't have enough candidates to field from 8 segments and imported candidates from Delhi and other parties. He claimed that INLD would win the maximum number of seats in Haryana.
