Captain Amarinder seeks admn’s cooperation on rally day

Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Captain Amarinder Singh, on Sunday, sought cooperation of the local administration for facilitating the smooth passage of people and their vehicles to the rally venue on December 15.

In an appeal to the officials and the police personnel, Amarinder said that he understood the tough job the administration will be faced with on the day of the rally, but he appealed to them to remain cooperative so that the people did not have any difficulty in reaching the venue and there was no hindrance in the movement of the traffic.

He said the party had also deployed about 200 youth Congress and NSUI volunteers at different crossings and important points to guide the people to the venue. They would also be monitoring the passage of traffic and flow of the people, he said.
