Captain to visit Gurdaspur on March 29

Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh will visit Gurdaspur Congress Bhavan on March 29 for interaction with party leaders from the district to chalk out election strategy of the party for the Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections due early in 2017.

Ha will be accompanied by Prashant Kishore whose services have been hired by the Congress to formulate and regulate the Congress election campaign to ensure victory of the Congress in the ensuing Punjab assembly elections-2017.

This was stated by Qadian MLA Charanjit Kaur Bajwa of Congress and wife of Partap Singh Bajwa at Qadian while leading the party leaders and workers to welcome Partap Singh Bajwa after his recent election as a member of the Rajya Sabha in Qadian on Saturday.

Addressing a gathering at Qadian, Partap Singh Bajwa asserted that the Congress was united in Punjab and the next government would be formed by the Congress in Punjab.

He said he would also distribute grants for the developmental works to the panchayats, municipal councils and other departments in his parliamentary constituency from his MPLAD scheme funds.
