Cattle fair at Nakodar village from tomorrow

The animal husbandry department will organise a two-day district cattle fair from Friday at Malrri Sahib village near here to help farmers select best animals. Breeding and milking competitions will be highlights of the fair.
The animal husbandry department will organise a two-day district cattle fair from Friday at Malrri Sahib village near here to help farmers select best animals. Breeding and milking competitions will be highlights of the fair.
"Different breeds of horses, cows, goats, lambs, and poultry will also be on display," animal husbandry department deputy director Dr Jaspal Singh Ghuman told the media here on Thursday. Jail, tourism and cultural affairs minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur will inaugurate the event and animal husbandry minister Gulzar Singh Rannike will give away the prizes.
