The train running between Chandigarh and Bandra in Mumbai (number 22452) would now make a halt at Karnal railway station every Wednesday and Sunday at 7.20am, said Karnal MP Arvind Sharma who flagged off the train from Karnal on Sunday.

He said the halt would help a number of commuters from Karnal who wanted to go to Mount Abu and Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan and Anand in Gujarat. It would also facilitate traders to bring cloth from Surat, he said.
