A crime scene is re-created by the police to connect the dots in any crime and helps the police prove allegations in court. Police left the Sector 26 police station, where the accused are lodged, at 10:55 pm and three police vehicles took to the roads to recreate the sequence of events that eventually led to the arrest of Vikas Barala and Kumar.

The police started driving from Sector 7, passing through Sector 8 then reached Madhya Marg. They then went up to the Housing Board lights, where the accused were intercepted and arrested by the police on August 5.

After recreating the crime scene, both the accused were then taken for their medical examination at GMSH, Sector 16.
