2,990 appear for MPhil/PhD exam

As many as 2,990 candidates appeared for MPhil/ PhD entrance examination conducted by Panjab University for its various departments here on Sunday.


The university spokesperson said that of the total 3,685, who had applied for the examination, 81.14% students appeared for the test.

The exam was conducted at 13 centres on the university campus. The officials said that the exam went off smoothly and no complaints were reported from any of the centres.
