4 IPS officers transferred

The Punjab government on Monday ordered the transfer of four senior police officers.

According to an official spokesman, SK Sharma (on promotion) has been posted as director general of police (DGP), human resource development and community policing, and the director, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur, with headquarters at Chandigarh; C Sita Ram Reddy as the ADGP (welfare) to be stationed at Chandigarh; Rajpal Meena as the ADGP (prisons), Punjab, at Chandigarh; and Gurinder Singh Dhillon as deputy inspector general (DIG), Ludhiana range.
