5-day PU Book Fair starts on August 25

Panjab University (PU), will host PU Book Fair from August 25 to 29 at the ground in front of the library on the campus. PU Book Fair is being organised for the first time at such a large level by AC Joshi Library.

PU librarian Raj Kumar informed that more than 40 reputed national and international publishers and distributors such as Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Sage, Wiley, NBT, Karger, British Council, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla would be holding stalls at the fair.The five-day long event will be studded with literary, socio-cultural programmes with luminaries drawn from diverse fields. An ‘author interactive session’ by Chandigarh Sahitya Academy and talks by PGI doctors on eye donation, organ donation, blood camps will also be held.
