56% students pass BCom-1 examination; 6,026 pass

 Panjab University (PU) declared the results of BCom-1 on Wednesday. The results are available on the PU website:

The controller of examinations, Parvinder Singh, said that 55.56%students passed the BCom-1 examinations. As many as 10,845 students had appeared for the BCom-I exam out of which 6,026 passed.

Naveen Shreshtha of Post Graduate Government College in Sector 11 topped the exam with 474 marks out of 550.

Vibhu Gambhir and Rahul Gautam of MCMDAV College for Women, Sector 36, and Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, respectively, secured the second and third positions with 469 and 467 marks. Arpit Puri of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, Nitika Bansal and Bhavya, both of MCMDAV College for Women, Sector 36 , secured fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.

Shreshtha Aggarwal of SD College here and Sarbpreet Kaur of Gover nment College of Commerce and Business Administration bagged the seventh position. Ausdeep Gill and Vaishali Kapoor, both of MCMDAV College for Women, Sector 36, stood eighth.
