7 IPS officers get current duty charge of DIG

The Punjab government on Monday issued instructions giving current duty charge of deputy inspector general (DIG) of police to seven newly-promoted IPS officers of the 1998 batch   Balkar Singh Sidhu, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Mohnish Chawla, Surinderpal Singh Parmar, Amar Singh Chahal, Jatinder Singh Aulakh and Mukhwinder Singh Chinna.
